A woman in Perth, Australia, endured a horrific attack by her two rottweilers at her home, with her neighbors witnessing the terrifying incident unfold.

Nikita Piil, a 31-year-old resident of Perth, Australia, is currently in the hospital, recovering from a vicious mauling by her pets last Saturday.

At approximately 4:30 pm on Saturday, Nikita's neighbors heard her desperate cries for help. Despite their desire to assist, they were frightened by the two rottweilers, named Bronx and Harlem. They attempted to fend off the dogs using leaf blowers, hoses, and baseball bats, but their efforts were futile. The dogs were momentarily distracted before resuming their attack on Nikita. Realizing the severity of the situation, the neighbors promptly contacted the police, as the dogs showed no signs of relenting.

Both police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene but were unable to halt the brutal assault by the dogs. Even attempts to subdue the animals with tasers proved unsuccessful. Ultimately, one of the dogs had to be shot by the officers as a last resort, and due to its severe injuries, it had to be euthanized later. The other dog was placed in the care of animal control authorities.

Nikita suffered significant blood loss and sustained serious bite wounds, as reported by the Australian website 7News.

On social media, Nikita often shared updates about her beloved dogs, affectionately referring to them as her "babies." In a heartfelt birthday post dedicated to Bronx in 2017, she expressed her profound connection with her furry companion, stating, "I couldn't be more grateful for such an amazing, spirited, devoted, clever, and caring little friend. You mean the world to me."
